Fix a stupid malloc bug (perhaps using the correct type is a good idea?)
Add timeouts for CIB calls sent to other nodes so syncronous calls dont block forever

• right now its only activated if cib_sync_call is specified in the options but perhaps everyone might want it.

Misc cleanups
Increase the timeout in 2node-fail tests to handle the increase in logging :)
