Test: Travis CI: update for recent changes

Since xml/Makefile.am now includes Makefile.common, the previous usage
of running make without configure is no longer used with Travis CI.

Also, remove the ability to run the public coverity scan, which we haven't
enabled since 2014 and have no plans to re-enable.
